Michael Franzese

Once a “made” man in the Colombo organized crime family in New York, Michael Franzese has been sharing his unique, gritty testimony to at-risk youth, athletes, men, women, families, and churches around the world for the past 28 years. After serving eight years in prison and surviving a mafia death sentence, God got Michael’s attention, turned his life around and remade him from the inside out through the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

Michael Franzese is already a respected and compelling voice in the current ministry landscape. As we expand this ministry, we want to tackle even more raw and unique stories, inviting people and churches to engage in dialogue that inspires hope and encourages repentance and redemption over the bondage of guilt and shame.

Through Michael Franzese Ministries, we have seen firsthand accounts of lives impacted through the transformational power of Christ. This energizes Michael to continue sharing the story of how he became a “remade” man in Christ. To help carry this mission forward, Michael has partnered with a group of “2ND CHANCE” friends who each share a testimony of redemption. Together, they are pushing forward and growing I AM 2ND CHANCES for His glory.

Cliff Preston

It’s been said that what sets Cliff Preston apart is his raw authenticity and compassion. Preston’s music ministry began in 2002 as he began traveling with bands to bring awareness to the love of Jesus as well as the mental health crisis. With his father being a professional counselor and pastor, he was very aware of the effect that mental health was having on the generation, as well as the ultimate source of wellness - the finished work of the cross. He has spent the following twenty years traveling the country writing songs, leading worship, preaching, and even opening businesses geared towards Christ-centered clinical mental healthcare.

Cliff is proud to call Smackover, Arkansas his hometown. He is even prouder of God’s faithfulness through his marriage with his wife Leslie, and the wisdom God provides as they raise their four children.

Cliff brings over two decades of ministry experience and business development to the table. He has written songs for artists including Newsong, JJ Weeks, Carrolton and more. He has shared the stage with artists such as MercyMe, Jeremy Camp, and Natalie Grant among others. All while opening and building companies that develop platforms to display Christ to a lost and hurting world.

, who are passionate about reaching those with a gritty past and through this medium tackle topics that churches are often uncomfortable talking about; gambling, pornography, sexual identity, gangs, crime, divorce, bankruptcy, etc. While churches may minister to this demographic on a limited geographical scope, I AM 2ND CHANCES has relationships expanding all over the globe.

Studies show that now more than ever there is a need to share a message of hope and healing. I AM 2ND CHANCES will do just that. With their own redemptive stories of freedom from gambling, addiction, struggles with sexual identity and pornography, painful divorce, bankruptcy (personal or business) and more, they will encourage and inspire people by pointing them to the only One who can transform their lives...Jesus Christ. As the team of I AM 2ND CHANCES grows, our target market will continue to broaden with the range of topics and issues.
